Solar PV and Battery Storage Installation in Ferndown

We recently completed a solar PV installation for a new build property in Ferndown, creating a discreet renewable energy system designed around the appearance of the home.

The customer wanted to benefit from solar energy without the panels becoming a prominent feature of the property. To achieve this, we carefully designed and positioned a 12 panel solar PV system on the flat roof, minimising its visibility from ground level while maintaining strong energy performance.

The flat roof provided an ideal location for the installation. Careful planning allowed the panels to be positioned at an effective angle and orientation while preserving the property’s clean, modern appearance.

We also installed a 10kWh battery storage system. This allows surplus electricity generated by the solar panels during the day to be stored for use during the evening or whenever electricity demand is higher.

Battery storage helps the homeowner make greater use of the energy generated by their own system, reducing reliance on electricity from the National Grid and providing greater control over household energy use.

The completed installation provides a practical, efficient and visually considered renewable energy solution. By combining solar PV with battery storage, the customer can generate and store clean electricity without compromising the appearance of their new home.
